Inflatable fabric is a PVC vinyl polymer chemically known as polyvinyl chloride. It has several applications in the leisure and construction industries. In the inflatable boat and paddle baord industry it is used as a coating on polyester or nylon to increase the strength and tear resistance. Because it is a type of plastic, it can be thermobonded or glued. This allows the manufacturer to mass produce boats on a large scale with machines and unskilled labour. Inflatable fabric is typically coated or laminated with synthetic materials to increase their strength and environmental resistance. Among the most widely used materials are polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coated vinyl and oxford woven cloth. PVC coated materials are more durable and air tight.

We can use different combination of polyester yarns and forms of weaving. That will change its tearing strength, breaking strength…etc. And we can adjust thickness and structure of pvc film to control weight, by changing formulation to enable FR, anti-static, air tight, chemical resistant…etc. PVC film hardness can also cause different hand feeling. When producing we can use different technology (for example: cold lamination, hot lamination, knife coating) for different application of material. Different embossing roller can make the material surface glossy, matte or embossed pattern. This is how we customize industrail fabrics according to request.
